The Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center is wrapping up a major renovation project.

Nationwide Realty InvestorsNationwide’s real estate development affiliate and the owner of the property, invested $14 million into the remodel. It also is rebranding the complex as the Ohioan Hotel & Event Center.

The 20-acre property is located at 100 Green Meadows Dr. S at the corner of Powell Road and Route 23 in Lewis Center.

The project includes renovated and modernized ballrooms, expanded and refined pre-function and post-function spaces with improved connectivity, and a new private outdoor courtyard with multiple fireplaces connected to the ballroom for indoor/outdoor meetings and events.

Additional renovations include updates to the 193 guest rooms and suites. The 2,000-square-foot pub also will get a refresh in the fall.

The hotel will remain open throughout the phased renovations.

“As is typical in the life cycle of all great hotels and event facilities, it was time for a comprehensive renovation and rebranding,” NRI President Brian Ellis said in a press release.
