Nationwide Realty plans $200M expansion of the Arena District

More than $1 billion in development has occurred around the Arena District since 1997.

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc.’s plans to occupy the top three floors of a new four-story building are just the start of a $200 million expansion of the Arena District that could feature hundreds of units of housing and support thousands of jobs.

Brian Ellis, chief operating officer of developer Nationwide Realty Investors Ltd., said the California-based restaurant chain has signed a 15-year-lease for up to 100,000 square feet of space in the new building, slated for the corner of Neil and Vine streets.
