Representatives from Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) — the developers of the Arena District and Grandview Yard — unveiled today their second phase of the Parks Edge condo development located at the intersection of Spring Street and Neil Avenue in Downtown Columbus. The phase includes a second 12-story tower that will be located directly to the east of the initial building that is currently under construction.

“The initial response to Parks Edge has exceeded our expectations,” said NRI President and COO Brian Ellis, who told Columbus Underground last year that the second phase would timeline would be based on market demand. ”Parks Edge is located in the perfect spot — the views of the city and parks combined with the walkability of the Arena District are unmatched in Columbus.”

The new building will include 82 new for-sale condominium units that range from 1,600 square feet to 2,600 square feet, and will feature a mix of two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts. Pricing will start at $465,000 and will top out at over $1 million for customized units. The building features an atrium with a social room, a fitness center, a conference room, and 24-hour concierge service. Residents will also have access to the adjacent 327-space parking garage that features a rooftop pool and hot tub.

Phase one of Parks Edge is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2017. Pending approval by the Downtown Commission, phase two will begin construction in Early 2017 with an expected completion sometime in 2018.
